Job Title: Associate Engineering Designer
Location: Riverside, CA
Salary: $60,000 - $97,000 ($38.50 To $46.50 Hourly)

Award winning, multi-discipline planning, design and engineering firm with over 65 years of serving clients in both the public and private sectors. We maintain divisions that focus on civil engineering, urban design & planning, community planning, landscape architecture, transportation & traffic engineering, surveying, mapping, aerial photogrammetry, water resources, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and 3D laser scanning. We are rapidly growing and looking to add a Principal Design Engineer in our Riverside office.

Key Responsibilities:

Take grading plans from conceptual design to final plans
Prepare and process maps and plans for subdivision and land development projects, including road design, drainage, and earthwork calculations
Ensure compliance with civil design engineering standards and regulations
Provide guidance, training and mentorship to junior design staff
Ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency of design engineering work
Monitor project progress and make changes when necessary
Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

3+ years experience in Land Development Design Engineering
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D software
Experience in land development projects (road design, drainage, and earthwork calculations)
Must have knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures (preferably in the Inland Empire)
Certified Professional Engineer (P.E.) or E.I.T license is strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
