NFP Audit Manager

Position Overview
The NFP Audit Manager will oversee and manage audit engagements for not-for-profit organizations. This role aims to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, maintain the integrity of financial reporting, and provide strategic insights to clients in the NFP sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion for not-for-profit clients.
Review audit work papers and ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and guidance on accounting and auditing issues.
Identify areas for improvement in internal controls and recommend solutions to clients.
Prepare and present audit findings and reports to clients and stakeholders.
Train, mentor, and supervise junior audit staff, ensuring professional development and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably with a focus on not-for-profit organizations.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
