Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee audit engagements, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide strategic insights to clients. This role focuses on enhancing internal controls and risk assessment procedures while ensuring adherence to GAAP and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit engagements from start to finish, including risk assessment and internal control evaluations.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations.
- Provide detailed reports on audit findings and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and provide strategic advice.
- Assist in the training and development of junior audit staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the audit process.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
