About Us
We are a full service Civil/Environmental Engineering and Land Surveying firm that has been serving the tri-state area since 1968 and more recently began serving the Carolinas with our second office opening in Asheville, NC in 2022. Our clientele include residential, commercial, solid waste, institutional, and industrial owners/developers, as well as federal, state, county, and local municipal governments.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in planning, designing, and managing water/wastewater and civil/site projects, overseeing the preparation of plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
  • Develop comprehensive project scopes, fees for services, and detailed designs while effectively communicating with clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies to meet contractual obligations and ensure project success.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, EIT's, CADD technicians, and subconsultants to execute projects successfully, maintaining project progress and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the water/wastewater team, supervising technical support personnel, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Interact with local, state, and federal officials, as well as other stakeholders, to address project requirements and regulatory compliance effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and effective communication in managing project complexities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

What You Need for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience with the technical design of water/wastewater projects.
  • Land development (residential, commercial, and/or industrial) design and project management experience in a Land Development firm
  • PE licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Design, MicroStation, Land Development, and Landscape Planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
