This client who has been servicing many different areas of the law and representing individuals/business throughout California for the last 35+ years is looking for a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to add to their LA branch.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including business litigation, employment law, and auto defense.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Prepare and present cases in court, including trials and hearings, while advocating for clients' best interests.
Manage all aspects of case preparation, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing legal strategies.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.
Provide clients with legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process, ensuring they are informed of all developments.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
3+ years of experience in civil litigation defense, with a strong focus on business litigation and employment law.
