Corp Accounting Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corp Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and leading a team of accounting professionals in a construction-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assess financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure tax compliance and facilitate external audits in collaboration with auditors.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Proven experience in construction accounting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and GAAP.
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with tax compliance and auditing practices.
- Excellent financial analysis and account reconciliation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
