Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing project requirements, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that all electrical construction projects are completed within budget and scope. This role is critical in supporting our project management teams and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
Utilize AutoCAD and Primavera software to aid in the estimation process and project planning.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive project budgets.
Maintain records of all estimates and costs for future reference and project tracking.
Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of electrical construction processes and standards.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools, including AutoCAD and Primavera.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accurate cost assessments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and SCADA is a plus.
Familiarity with NEMA standards and CoinsOA software is desirable.
Experience with rental and construction equipment estimation is an advantage.
