What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for managing commercial electrical service and project work for Nashville regioin
- Responsible for providing service to over 50 customers
- Responsible for managing service dispatchers, service assistant, and over 75 electricians
- Responsible for dispatching electricians with the correct materials and equipment to complete work orders
- Responsible for reviewing all dispatch assignments to ensure route efficiencies
- Responsible for truck quality control and inventory control
- Responsible for providing quotes, including ability to analyze bid documents and existing site conditions to properly outline scope of work
- Responsible for managing P&L to include labor, material, and equipment costs
- Responsible for weekly time sheet reviews to ensure they match up with quotes, invoices, and customer IVR
- Responsible for ensuring proper ratio of electricians to cover territory and meet respective customer SLAs, while controlling costs to ensure target gross profit
- Responsible for safety training and compliance
- Responsible for electrician escalations as needed to include nights and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need for this Position
Requirements:
- 5+ years field experience as a journeyman electrician, foreman, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years office experience as a service manager
- Ability to communicate both verbally and thorough writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
- Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely and professional manner
- Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit, and analyze data
- Ability to navigate customer portals (ServiceChannel, Corrigo, FM Pilot, etc.)
- Ability to create, navigate, search and update company systems (emails, work orders, reports, quotes, invoices, etc.)
- Proficient with creating, editing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Power Point presentations
