Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and requirements to provide accurate cost estimates for concrete and steel construction projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time, contributing to the overall success of our industrial construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete and steel projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.
Analyze historical data to develop pricing models and benchmarks for future projects.
Prepare and present detailed reports on estimates to management and clients.
Monitor project costs and financial performance throughout the construction phase.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related fieldpreferred.
Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, specifically with concrete and steel projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and terminology.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools used for cost analysis.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
