Title: Field Service Technician - Packaging Equipment

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Hourly Pay: $35.00 - $42.00

We're targeting to hire a Field Service Technician with exposure to the packaging space.

What You Will Be Doing

This role involves repairing, servicing, installing & training on packaging equipment (Case Sealers, Stretch Wrappers, Tapers, Case Formers, Etc.). It requires roughly 50% travel and may include OT based on customer needs.

TRAVEL - Roughly 50%, Primarily windshield time / local area. Some out of state travel but not commonly.

Maintain and repair customer equipment
Train customers on new equipment
Request follow up on parts for servicing
Complete daily work orders for billing & stock allocation
Review and manage job-specific reports / calendars
Meet KPI goals set by leadership

What You Need for this Position

3+ years of field service experience (packaging equipment)
Strong Mechanical, Electrical, Multimeter, PLC, Schematics experience.
Experience with Case sealers, stretch wrapping, shrink wrapping, case forming, robotics. Various Packaging Equipment / MHE Is a huge plus.
High School diploma or Equivalent. (GED)
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Bilingual is a plus
