General Manager of Commissary Operations

Position Overview
With our multiple restaurant locations and long running history of delivering fresh ingredients from local family farms, we are looking to bring on a General Manager of Commissary Operations to oversee and enhance our commissary operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with USDA regulations while managing daily operations, leading a team, and driving efficiency and quality in food production.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the commissary and ensure compliance with USDA regulations.
Manage staff and foster a positive work environment through effective leadership and communication (5 direct reports).
Ensure food safety standards are maintained and staff are adequately trained in ServSafe protocols.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee inventory control and supply chain management to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
Implement quality assurance measures and monitor production processes for consistency and compliance.
Manage budgeting and cost control efforts to ensure profitability and financial health of the commissary.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer service and address any service-related issues.

Qualifications

4+ yrs experience in culinary or commissary management.
In-depth knowledge of USDA regulations and food safety standards.
ServSafe Certified (or willingness to complete upon employment).
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Business Management (or related field).
Ability to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
Experience working for a 24/7 restaurant operation preferred.
