Geotechnical Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to various projects by analyzing soil and rock properties and designing foundations and earthworks. This role involves collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure structural integrity and environmental safety.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyze soil and rock samples.
Design and evaluate foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects.
Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical findings into project designs.
Perform site inspections and monitor site conditions to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
2+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design principles.
Familiarity with geotechnical software and analysis tools.
