Recruiter Spotlight: Anne Wasserman Helps People Find Their Dream Jobs

Have you met Executive Recruiter Anne Wasserman, one of CyberCoders' Rockstar Recruiters?

A Native Floridian and lover of fitness, outside the office Wasserman can be found being active and enjoying life by the beach in LA. In the office, Wasserman specializes in placement for the following skill sets:  LAMP, Python, Ruby, Java, Andriod.

Tell us about an exciting job match you made recently?

Recently I was able to place a great candidate in a great company where he is not only working closer to where he lives, but also in a position to take his career to the next level! It was a win-win for everyone involved, which is really important to me.  This job has nothing to do with me.  The reality is, I help people find their dream jobs.

What drives you to go above and beyond?

What drives me is the ability to make a difference.  When there is an organic fit between a candidate and a company that wouldn’t have transpired otherwise – it makes everything worthwhile!  For me, it's about creating value for both my clients and candidates.

What do you think separates CyberCoders from the average recruiting firm?

I’ve been with CC for almost 8 years now, so I don’t know a lot about other agencies.  What I can say is, at our core, CyberCoders is a family.  If you look at most of our executive team, a lot of people have been here for 10+ years.  There is something to be said about working at a company where the VP is your mentor and the President is someone you can actually get on the phone, if you need to.  These are genuinely authentic people who are phenomenal at this job and care about what they are doing.  Honestly, I feel lucky to still be with CyberCoders.  It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together!

What is your favorite part about being a recruiter?

My favorite part of being a recruiter is learning about new companies, technologies and even industries.  Being the first to see when the market shifts is exciting!  There is so much opportunity here in Silicon Beach.  It’s an exciting time, on a lot of different levels.

What are your favorite hobbies or activities outside of the office?

Outside of work, I’m extremely into fitness.  I love Pilates, Orange Theory, yoga.  But usually on the weekend you can find me enjoying the days by the beach, and the nightlife/food in West Hollywood!!
