Recruiter Spotlight: Kayle Bernal Goes Above and Beyond to Build Lasting Partnerships

Kayle was born and raised in Southern California, and is known for her ability to think creatively and adapt quickly, and has developed a reputation for creating versatile solutions to various inquiries.

1. Tell us about an exciting job match you made recently?

I recently placed a candidate who just moved to a different state with her husband. She was nervous that she didn’t have any interviews lined up and that it would take a while for an offer to be made. A week later I picked up a new client and developed a great relationship with the CEO and pitched her. Within 72 hours we had her interview 3 times and successfully prepped her for each one. By day 3 an offer was extended and she started work a week later.

She called and thanked me and felt this was the best opportunity she has ever had, that same day the CEO called me and expressed how happy he was and felt she was the perfect fit for this position and that they never would have found her without me. It was a great feeling to build relationships with two separate parties that ended up joining together.

2. What drives you to go above and beyond?

I take a personal investment in each client/candidate I pick up. I know that if I were to work with someone I would want them to perform at 110% for me so there should be no difference when I work with someone else. You should always go above and beyond and build lasting partnerships, and I aim to make my lasting impression a positive one.

3. What do you think separates CyberCoders from the average recruiting firm?

CyberCoders is a great company that really knows how to train their employees with best practices. We are much more than a recruiting firm – we’re a family and each client/candidate we pick up is an extension of our family. We don’t just place people and never talk to them again, we continuously follow-up, get to know them on a personal level and treat them as people not products.

4. What is your favorite part about being a recruiter?

My favorite part about being a recruiter is that I will never stop learning. Each client/candidate I come across is completely different than the last and each comes with their own challenges. It’s exhilarating to start each day fresh and tackle challenges that come our way and really make a difference in people’s lives.

5. What are your favorite hobbies or activities outside of the office?

I really enjoy attending concerts and listening to live music. During the summer there isn’t one weekend you won’t find me on the water either wake-boarding, wake-surfing, or at the beach with my dog Amos.
