IT Support Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, networking, and delivering exceptional customer service. The primary objective is to ensure efficient operation of our IT systems and help users resolve technical problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware and software issues for both Windows and MAC OS environments.
Assist with network troubleshooting and configuration to ensure connectivity and performance.
Install and configure computer systems, software applications, and hardware components.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
Deliver remote support to users experiencing technical difficulties.
Document support requests and resolutions in the help desk system to maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices in service management.
Provide training and guidance to users on new technologies and tools.

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical support or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and MAC OS environments.
Experience with hardware installations and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
ITIL certification is a plus.
