Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal counsel, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. This role focuses on civil litigation and requires a strong commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of litigation cases from inception to conclusion
Conduct thorough legal research and writing to support case strategies
Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct depositions, hearings, and arbitrations as needed
Represent clients in court during trials and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with team members to develop effective legal strategies
Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff
Maintain organized case files and effective case management systems
Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case progress
Participate in continuing legal education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation
Strong research and writing skills
Proven experience in case management and motion practice
Excellent oral advocacy skills and trial experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to client service and professional ethics
