Maintenance Manager
Salary: $100K-$130K (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Linden, NJ
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, developing maintenance strategies, and implementing best practices to enhance operational uptime and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards throughout the facility.
- Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills.
Qualifications
- 4+ years Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; certification in relevant areas is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Any experience in Waste-water/sludge treatment is a huge plus!
- Any knowledge of Condensers, Heat exchangers, Air dryers, Compressors, Control Valves, and Fluidized bed technology are also preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
