Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at various levels of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our manufacturing equipment and systems, particularly in the food manufacturing sector. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in manufacturing systems
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery
Maintain records of maintenance and repair work done
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime
Utilize knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics for system maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Qualifications

HOURLY RATE depending on experience $30/hr- $40/hr
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
2+ years as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
