Maintenance Technician

Location: Ennis TX
Industrial Manufacturing Company - Publicly Traded - Plastics Co!
Hourly Range: $27.50-$40.50/hr (+ $1.50 shift differential for night shift)
Night Shift Hours: 6PM-6AM

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and maintenance practices. This role is crucial for supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring safety and efficiency in our processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reliability.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems is a plus.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques.
Basic knowledge of motors, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics is desirable.
Electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
