Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient production flows. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify and resolve process inefficiencies and quality issues.
  • Create and modify 3D and 2D designs for manufacturing components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of new products.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to maintain product standards and compliance with ISO regulations.
  • Assist in project management for new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Support CNC machining activities and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to facilitate accurate production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Solidworks
  • Proven experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in 3D and 2D design software.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and product design principles.
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes and materials science.
  • Experience in project management and effective team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement automation solutions.
  • Experience with cost reduction strategies and optimizing manufacturing processes.
