Planning Supervisor

Position Overview
The Planning Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the planning activities within the supply chain to ensure efficient production and inventory management. This role is crucial in optimizing processes and leading a team to achieve organizational goals while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the planning team to ensure effective scheduling and inventory management.
Develop and implement forecasting processes to improve supply chain efficiency.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
Coordinate with other departments to align production schedules with supply chain capabilities.
Lead projects aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing waste following lean manufacturing principles.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to inventory and production planning.
Facilitate training and development for team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain planning or inventory management.
Strong knowledge of forecasting methods and inventory management techniques.
Proven experience in process improvement and project management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and data analysis capabilities.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
