NOTE: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee diverse construction projects located in Northwest Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general contracting and construction management, with a focus on delivering high-quality results that meet client specifications. This role offers the opportunity to work within various sectors like educational, retail, healthcare, commercial, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing pre-construction activities
Conducting accurate estimating
Managing contracts
Scheduling (preferably using P6)
Implementing construction means and methods
Controlling costs
Handling payment processes
Managing project closeouts

Experience Requirements:

Have 5+ years of experience in heavy construction (bridge work, infrastructure, plant & process)
Possess the expertise to manage projects from preconstruction to closeout
Be a self-starter with strong team management skills
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be confident and effective in delivering formal presentations
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and seek win-win outcomes
Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times
Lead by example, displaying honesty and integrity
Demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service
Reside in the Chicagoland area
