Safety Manager

Position Overview
The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to within the construction environment. They will oversee safety compliance related to pipeline operations and collaborate with various teams to foster a culture of safety across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction projects.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Provide training and resources to employees regarding safety practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and develop preventative measures.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to promote a safe working environment and mitigate risks.
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Safety Manager in the construction industry, particularly with pipeline operations.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and DOT safety standards.
Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage safety training and compliance initiatives.
