Title: Technical Account Manager
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (GREAT relocation package)
Salary: $140,000-$185,000
Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 50-70% throughout the US; sometimes Germany (proactively scheduled)

We've grown 37% over the last 3 years and are looking to bring on an experienced Technical Account Manager who will be responsible for overseeing & managing the equipment health of an installation base, as well as being the technical owner (and at times executor) of all application & technical opportunities for an assigned group of accounts within a specific market vertical. This role is strategically and tactically aligned with customer goals and targets, ensuring maximum performance and reliability of our solutions.

What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee and manage equipment health for assigned installations, ensuring performance, reliability, and positive customer perception
- Monitor Perfect Portion Rating, MRO%, and digital products to prioritize and engage customers on performance improvements
- Align with the SAM team on key accounts and activities
- Identify and implement recipe and line optimization opportunities
- Conduct stockroom part audits and execute improvements as needed
- Track action items from field activities, coordinating with Aftermarket for follow-up and Vertical Technical Leadership for planned initiatives
- Work with the assigned Aftermarket Specialist to communicate ROI and overall effectiveness of solutions
- Collaborate with the Vertical Service Manager and Academy Manager on technical training needs
- Serve as the Vertical Applications SME for the designated market
- Plan and execute in-house customer demonstrations upon request
- Maintain customer communication regarding technical activities for assigned accounts
- Contribute as a valued member of the Centralized Logistics Council when needed
- Conduct a targeted number of technical visits per plan, covering key resources and categories
- Set customer and activity priorities in alignment with goals established by the SAM team
- Generate action items from EPIPS and other technical activities
- Identify and implement in-field opportunities for recipe and line optimizations
What You Need for this Position
- AAS or Equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar focus.
- Minimum of 5 years of dealing with capital equipment, food processing, packaging, or closely related field
- Working knowledge of capital machine projects and knowledge of slicing and/or packaging systems/applications
- Ability to travel 50-70% - majority throughout the US, some trips to Germany
