Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage our companys financial records and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and extensive experience with QuickBooks. This role requires strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to maintain the integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports
Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with accounting regulations
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Provide support during audits and liaise with auditors as needed
Develop and implement bookkeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
Train and mentor junior bookkeeping staff

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of public accounting principles
CPA certification preferred but not required
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
