Position Overview
The Purchaser is responsible for managing the procurement process and ensuring that the organization secures the best quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role requires a strategic approach to sourcing and supplier management, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving cost efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contracts and performance expectations.
Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing costs.
Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and develop category management strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Proven negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
Experience in inventory control and cost reduction initiatives.
Familiarity with contract management and supplier relationship management best practices.
