Software Engineer

Position Overview

For the past 10 years, we've been leading the way as one of the most powerful fantasy map-making tools available. We pride ourselves on our top-quality UI design and intricate map building options. We provide a platform to allows our users to build and create their perfect battle or regional maps for any occasion. Our attention to detail and drive to continuously bring new features to our users is unmatched by our competitors!

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work on our map editor platform by updating and improving our existing systems and features. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, particularly using React and JavaScript. With new interactive products coming soon, we are looking for someone who will be able to help assist in multiple areas given their expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using React and JavaScript.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to define application features and requirements.
Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of the software.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software development with a focus on React and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
Experience with TypeScript, WebGL, Canvas, and graphics experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
