Sr. Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Manager to oversee and manage our key projects in the student housing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management principles and practices, alongside a passion for creating exceptional student living experiences. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions to develop clear and actionable project plans and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to funding guidelines.
- Monitor and control project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
- Implement agile methodologies and SCRUM practices to enhance project delivery and team performance.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity and meet project demands.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are integrated into project management activities to meet and exceed quality standards.
- Manage change requests and ensure appropriate documentation and approval processes are followed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on student housing, commercial or similar sectors.
- Experience in using Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, and Revit
- Proven experience in risk management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SCRUM frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and change management principles.
