Traveling Electrical Superintendent
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction projects in data centers across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines, while providing leadership and direction to project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical contractors and subcontractors on-site.
- Review and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports and progress documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent with a focus on Data Center projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices in commercial and industrial settings.
- Experience managing hyperscale data center construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IBEW standards and practices.
- Commercial and Industrial electrical construction
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to various project sites as required.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
