Position Overview

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects across various locations, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves significant travel and requires strong leadership and project management skills to coordinate teams and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise multiple construction sites to ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all work is on track and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on all job sites.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate timely project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
• Review and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate implementation.
• Identify and resolve issues and problems that may arise during construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or site supervision.
• Proven experience in project management and budget management.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance regulations and practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Willingness to travel frequently to various job sites.
